Truckee Community Chorus presents "Carmen"

4:00pm Truckee Community Chorus will present opera choruses and arias from the opera, "Carmen", on Sunday, April 27 at 4 pm in the Truckee Elementary multipurpose hall. The work will be conducted by Susan K. Horst, with full orchestra accompaniment by the Diablo Valley College Philharmonic Orchestra from Pleasant Hill, CA. The program will include folk, contemporary and classical choral and orchestral literature as well. Chris Nelson and Ms. Horst will conduct the balance of the program. The orchestra is under the direction of Owen Lee. Tickets will be available at Between the Notes, and Blooms & Zooms, both on Donner Pass Road, and at the Door.
